Spooner Golf Club is committed to helping families learn and share the fun, challenge and life lessons golf has to offer at an affordable price.
Originally designed by Tom Vardon in 1930 and seamlessly molded into the special 18 hole layout it is today by Dr. Gordon Emerson in 1980, Spooner Golf Club has come to be known for fabulous course conditions, scenic beauty and one of the most satisfying Northwoods golf experiences for golfers of all ability levels. With tree-lined eighteen holes cut out from the rolling hills of Washburn County, Spooner Golf Club is a marvelous representation of classic golf at its finest. Mix in the large practice facility with two practice greens, a dynamic golf shop with the biggest names in golf, a PGA Certified Professional in instruction, the fabulous Clubhouse with daily specials and famous Friday Fish Fry and you have... not just a round of golf, but a Northwest Wisconsin Golf Experience.
