Dear Spooner Golf Club Members and Patrons,
The Board of Directors and staff at Spooner Golf Club are thrilled that Governor Evers has lifted the ban on golf in our great state.
Spooner Golf Club is planning on opening on Friday, April 24th at 10:00 am. This is all weather-driven and we will keep you posted on the website and Facebook.
There will some guidelines that must be adhered to in order to keep golf a safe place for recreation and spirited camaraderie. The following guidelines come from the recent order that will be enforced until changes are made:
Wisconsin Public and private golf courses may open, with the following restrictions on April 24th, 2020
The use of rental golf carts is prohibited.
Social Distancing Requirements must be observed at all times unless the players reside in the same living unit or household.
All tee times and payments must be made in advance online or by phone.
Clubhouses and pro shops must remain closed.
Tee times must be spaced to avoid multiple foursomes from clustering or gathering at any stage of the course.
No players will congregate in any area on the course or in the parking lot
All maintenance work and groundskeepers shall comply with Section 2.b.i. and 2.b.ii. of this Order. All other functions may only continue under Minimum Basic Operations.
Driving ranges and miniature golf must remain closed.
We will ask everyone to follow these guidelines to ensure safety for our members, patron’s and employees.
